Description:In order to achieve objectivity in the consulting processes, it is important that the deoist (person who practices organizational development)identify and develop a series of competencies, understood as the actions that we carry out as human beings to solve problems and that are related to their context, knowledge and skills. For this article, the concept of competence is considered from a socio-formative approach, integrating three types of knowledge: being (attitudes and values), doing (procedural and technical skills) and knowing (concepts and theories) in a perspective of continuous improvement. The reader is invited to reflect on their possible areas for improvement, and strategies to develop for their growth as a consultant.
