Descripción: | Life Promises Charity (LPC) in Costa Rica is a foundation that uses sports as a tool to mitigate social risks. Its strategic objectives include promoting democracy, peace, solidarity, social justice, and sustainable environmental development. In turn, the Mariposa Project aims to support vulnerable child populations, facilitate the exchange of experiences between organizations, and find solutions to issues of social violence and economic risk. The project focuses on generating proposals and promoting political, institutional, environmental, regulatory, and control alternatives through sports, education, and culture, prioritizing the well-being and development of children and adolescents in Costa Rica and Central America. They also promote the sustainable use of resources while working to mitigate the impact of organized crime and various forms of violence. |
