Descrizione:The use of technological tools has changed many aspects of society, including the teaching and learning of mathematics; especially in the field of statistics. In the last few years interest in the teaching of statistics has been stimulated by the rapid development of this field as a science and its instrumental contribution to research in other areas, as well as in aspects of daily life. This article shows the importance of teaching statistics with the help of a technological tool. We consider what must be taken into account when a technological tool is used, and we make some suggestions about how one can use the dynamic software Fathom.
