| Beskrivelse: | This study uses the time serie of El Humo streamflow -gaging station to analyze its extreme events, approaching theoretic distributions in order to calculate magnitudes and return periods of high flows. The used distributions are Gumbel and Log Pearson type III. For each one it has been made the fitting and calculated the magnitud for events with return periodis of 10; 20; 25; 50 and 100 years. At the same time, it has been performed a comparison between obtained results with both metodologies and observed values. |
