Descripción:The main objective of this research is to develop a feasibility study to determine the viability of exporting a container weekly papaya hybrid Pococí to the Canadian market, in Tanque de San Carlos, Alajuela, Costa Rica. Being a pre-feasibility study to assess the desirability of implementing or not an investment project is defined as a quantitative type research aims to evaluate the different economic variables of the objectives proposed in this analysis. Together descriptive research was developed to perform diagnostics market, organizational and legal order to find a solution to the problem. It was determined that the project to prefeasibility level if it has viability in market research, technical, organizational, legal and financial. The financial analysis determined that the profitability indicators IRR and NPV are positive from the point of view of investors.
