| Descripción: | 1. Two-hundred and fifty samples of processed meats from two of San Jose's meat processing establishments were examined bacteriologically. 2. Salmonella was recovered from 20 (8%) of the samples. 3. Twenty-two strains of Salmonella were isolated, corresponding to eight different serotypes, among which, S. newport and S. reading were most prevalent. |
