Descripción:In the majority of Higher Secondary Education subsystems in Mexico, there is no figure to carry out the desirable teaching support process. Based on classroom observation, this process offers an understanding of school realities to better design institutional activities and optimize intervention work in the classroom. The present study sought to evaluate the classroom teaching intervention monitoring project to find out if it was indeed a teacher support process that improved their performance, or not. The study was carried out and supported by applying the action research method with a sample of 24 teachers from a humanistic pedagogical perspective in 2019 and by using new theoretical trends on the function of supervision and evaluation in the classroom. In the end, the value of the monitoring program was acknowledged as a desirable support tool for school managers.
