Descripción: | This article will provide an overview of the course LM-1030 Reading Strategies I, its role and importance for future professionals from different faculties in the University of Costa Rica. It will describe the different stages of the course by focusing on the most important monitoring and metacognitive strategies applied to develop proficiency in the reading process in L2 contexts. Some research methodologies about teaching reading comprehension strategies will also be discussed. It will also mention the importance of the LM-1030 Reading Strategies I and the lasting effect on professionals whose main goal is researching in their fields. |
