The Music Education Crisis as a Consequence of Educational Institution Decay

Descripción:The educational institution suffers a crisis due to diverse elements are casting of doubt essential principles of equity and quality. This study aims to review the values’ string in educational institution, which encompasses from the Supranational agencies to school, according to music education perspective. The method is framed to qualitative design, according to grounded theory, which is centred on the Constant Comparative Method. The results show that educational institution decay is replicated on music education and, the most serious, the socio-educational inequality arises during curriculum design. In conclusion, sociomusical approach makes possible the crisis overcoming, since it recognises complexity of the cultural world by promoting a systematic interaction between the educational institution and the rest of social groups in the world.
