Popis:Introduction: Chile promotes equal rights and non-discrimination of people through regulations based on principles such as universal accessibility. The evidence shows access inequity in protected natural environments. This implies a limitation of the rights of these people and the possibility of benefiting from access to these places, which has been related to better well-being and social inclusion, conditions that are diminished in this population. Objective: Analyzing the accessibility conditions of these areas through the systematization of official information. Method: A descriptive documentary design was used, considering two stages. First, the recommendations of entities such as the National Disability Service (SENADIS), the National Tourism Service (SERNATUR) and the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) were analyzed. Then, the presence or absence of 9 accessibility conditions in each area was evaluated, classified in 3 dimensions: (a) access to information and to the wilderness area, (b) general accessibility conditions, and (c) accessibility in the appreciation of the natural environment. Results: The results reveal that more than half of the areas lack declared accessibility conditions, and none meet all the conditions analyzed. The lack of declared accessible condition web pages and trained personnel are the most outstanding deficits.
