| Descrizione: | The following article tries to reflect on the features and functions of the greetings, for that we include the complete corpus of the center of interest Greetings that the costarrican youth contribute. The sample was collected through a survey using the methodology of the lexical availability and use of sociolinguistic variables. We obtained 926 words or entries and a total of 5694 expressions given by the informants, which some are proper greetings and the others are words that are connected to this center of interest. |
