Descripció:Introduction: the objective of this article is to contribute to the discussions about the hidden gender curriculum of the University and reveal the findings from the Gender, Human Rights and Diversity Commission of the Political Sciences Faculty from the University of Costa Rica. Objective: serve for discussions on the progressive elimination of the hidden gender curriculum and discrimination against women in the university community Method: its focus around the theoretical discussion and research done by other universities on how hidden gender curriculum affects women and men differently. Also, addresses the experience of both students and professors. The results: this article reveals how the Universities reproduce human behaviors and mindsets as it represents a social space that can legitimize inequality as well as minimize and hide inter and intra gender violence throughout the formal and informal educational system/process.
