Descripción:The experience that will be described is carried out in the San José Central Regional Office, in the Ismael Coto Fernández public school, located in the center of the country. The institution houses a population of 500 students in alternate hours. The main objective of this experience is to share the way in which the understanding of mathematical skills is developed, breaking down the barriers of presence and empowering the family to play a leading role in the teaching and learning processes of mathematics. The family got involved, cared about their children’s education and collaborated with the teachers. The students easily adapted to distance education. The participation of parents in the educational process for their children, achieved positive student attitudes, because, they felt supported. In addition, it was observed that the improved presentation of tasks and academic performance improved in general terms.
