Descripción: | Introduction: During the period from 2017 to 2018, the project Adequate management of residual fats for the benefit of public health, the environment and the pluvial structure in the canton of Montes de Oca of the State Distance University (UNED), was linked with the EBAIS administered by a private university of the Montes de Oca health area, through educational activities on the handling and elimination of residual fats at the community level. The foregoing in order to meet the objective of providing nutritional and environmental education on the management and elimination of residual fats in the home. Objective: Share health promotion strategies by providing nutritional and environmental education on the management and elimination of residual fats in the home, implemented as a joint between the EBAIS administered by a private university during 2017 and 2018. Methodology: A working session is held with the authorities and personnel of the EBAIS administered by the private university on the possible tools to be used for the promotion of health through nutritional and environmental education on the management and elimination of residual fats in home. Results: for the promotion of health through nutritional and environmental education on the management and elimination of residual fats in the home, tools such as murals, talks, sessions on nutrition and oil collection were used. Conclusion: The link with the EBAIS managed by a private university of the Montes de Oca health area, allowed the promotion of health on residual fats in homes, favoring the dissemination of good management practices and responsible disposal. The foregoing through the use of tools such as murals, talks, sessions on nutrition and oil collection. |
