Descripción: | Abstract This article intends to describe the challenges and strengths presented to the teaching staff of two Open Education projects at the University of Costa Rica during the implementation of virtual teaching strategies, because of COVID-19. To do this, four teachers from the Open Education Projects, the Rodrigo Facio branch, and the South's branch were interviewed.. The obtained data was analyzed qualitatively, highlighting that the incorporation of virtual components to adult education strategies can have benefits in the economic area. Some of them are not traveling to the study center and at the pedagogical level and having a wide variety of digital resources for the implementation of new teaching strategies. These are accomplished only if teachers and students have the necessary digital skills to develop meaningful teaching processes that help students to pass their tests. |
