Descripción: | This study details the alignment of evidence on early childhood education with Nicaraguan educational policy and its implementation. This article is part of a regional study in five Central American countries and the Dominican Republic, conducted with a common qualitative, documentary, and exploratory design. The methodology analyzed government documents and information collected through interviews with stakeholders. The literature review identified best practices in early childhood education along eight dimensions. The alignment of the policies with the evidence in some areas is very consistent, but there are gaps in other areas. The lack of access to public information limited further analysis of the scope and impact achieved through policy implementation. |
